Jane Parry

Jane Parry is Managing Partner and Head of Tax at PM+M – a leading independent North West accountancy firm, business advisory and wealth management group.  PM+M have offices in Blackburn and Burnley and aspirations to open a 3rd office to ensure coverage across the North West.  The group provides a range of financial, accountancy and business advisory services to business and personal clients across the North West and beyond.  Services include accountancy, audit, tax planning and compliance, corporate finance, payroll, wealth management, workplace pensions and business IT systems.

Jane has more than 20 years’ experience of providing practical tax advice to businesses and their owners.  She is a qualified Chartered Accountant, Chartered Tax Adviser and Trusts and Estates Practitioner.

As managing partner, Jane is responsible for overseeing the running of the firm and managing its team of more than 70 people.  The task of managing the partners of the firm is probably the most challenging aspect of the role – often being likened to herding cats!

With her other hat on, Jane heads up and oversees the firm’s tax services, managing the team and ensuring a consistently high quality of tax advice and client service.  Jane’s particular expertise is in advising on the tax aspects of corporate acquisitions and disposals and in tax planning for businesses and their owners, ensuring the personal income and capital taxes planning and wealth preservation dovetails effectively with the company’s tax planning.

Outside of the PM+M world, Jane likes to spend time with her husband, two young adult children and her dogs.  Jane also enjoys travelling, cooking, fine dining & wine and reading.   She has a big list of places she would like to visit and she and her husband are enthusiastically working their way through the Michelin guide’s list of starred restaurants in the UK and beyond.
