A lifelong motorcyclist and former moto-cross racer, Howard has over 33 years experience working within the motorcycle industry at all levels, having spent 10 years working within a motorcycle dealership in a technical capacity before joining Kawasaki Motors UK (KMUK) in 1991. Holding a number of different positions within the Kawasaki organisation before being appointed General Manager in 2004 has been invaluable in terms of aiding a balanced understanding of the industry, its needs and the challenges it faces in the future. KMUK distributes Motorcycles, ATV Quad Bikes and Mule Utility vehicles via a dealer network covering the length and breadth of the UK. With a sharp focus on customer service Kawasaki aims to deliver a high quality product combined with industry leading service levels. Currently turning over £48m with a staff of 35 KMUK has been a presence in the UK Motorcycle industry since 1974.
Howard is also a Director of the Motorcycle Industry Association, a Fellow of the Institute of the Motor Industry, a Certificated Automotive Engineer and holds a Management Diploma.
Outside work, Howard is an active mountain bike rider, competing in local cross country events, and he divides the remainder of his time between a house renovation and time with his family.
